There are many festivities and celebrations that lend themselves to piping. Of course, any outdoor activity can be enhanced by a piper or two, or even an entire band. Indoor events, if the room is large enough, can be viable for a piper.

The dedication of an exact replica of Stonehenge at Crystal Lakes Resort by the Canadian border. This beautiful structure is situated so that the mid summer's sun rises through the crack in the stone. I piped last year at sunrise coming slowly over a hill at dawn. It was a very dramatic moment.

Birthday parties are always a great time for the pipes. Nothing gets a crowd going faster than the sound of pipes and how could you make any one feel more special?
